Lotte Sarembe writes and sings experimental folk. Her debut EP Nobody’s Fault introduced her unique sound combining the use of wine glasses as a musical instrument, with her soprano vocals and folk-influenced songwriting.

Lottes music is a captivating sonic adventure that talks to the heart. Her songs, that are both comforting and haunting, speak of depth and nuance and guide you along a journey of unexpected turns. With vocal precision Lotte can cut through a room and draw the audience into complete silence. It’s a silence demanded by a combination of expertise, vocal freedom en having a true story to tell. In her voice Lotte has found both intimacy and vulnerability, creating space to be touched, and a musical rootedness that allows you to surrender.

Earlier she has already captivated audiences of Oerol, Amarte Wonderland and Studio 150. She continues to experiment, write and perform and has a new EP in the making with jazz/folk guitarist Ella Alise Ziriña.
